Radiotay listenership in decline

Radio tay fans seek local alternative since Tay AM and Tay FM introduce a Scottish Networked Service.

Listenership is in decline after both stations paid off popular DJs Sharrel Carroll, Dave Price, Alistair Smith and Ward McGaurchrin.

Only two of these presenters so far have managed to gain employment, Dave Price as a breakfast presenter and Alistair Smith a weekend presenter at Dundee's Wave102. David Moran commented since the changes Wave102 have welcomed 100s of new listeners to the station.

This means the competition heats up between the rival station.
